This is no ordinary water park. River Riders built the giant inflatable waterpark in a scenic quarry setting, offering a private beach and stunning views among the many amenities. The park features a variety of inflatable structures, including slides, climbing towers, obstacle courses, balance beams, trampolines, swings, and more.

Harpers Ferry Waterpark is loaded with fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. Ready to get started?

1. Grab a Splash Pass

The first thing you need to do is visit Harper Ferry Waterpark’s website and obtain your Splash Pass. The splash pass is your ticket to fun! The Splash Pass gives you an allotted time to enjoy 1.5 hours at the water park. Parents can purchase a nonparticipating pass to watch their kids enjoy the inflatable course from the beach area.

Harpers Ferry Waterpark recommends arriving an hour before your scheduled time to watch the safety video and prepare for a fun-filled experience. You will also need to sign a waiver before enjoying the park activities. While walk-ins are welcome, the park tends to fill up quickly, so we recommend making your reservation in advance.

2. Enjoy the Attractions

Once there, you have the option to enjoy a number of different inflatable obstacle courses! From slides to balance beams to swings, you won’t run out of things to do in your 1.5-hour session. The quarry setting itself offers scenic views and a beach area where you can relax and unwind. It’s truly the perfect mix of adventure and rest.

Here are some of the activities for kids aged five and up:

  • Inflatable Obstacle Courses: The core of the waterpark is a series of interconnected, commercial-grade inflatable structures that form obstacle courses.
  • Slides: There are various inflatable slides to enjoy.
  • Climbing Towers: Test your strength and agility on inflatable climbing towers.
  • Monkey Bars: Navigate your way across floating monkey bars.
  • Balance Beams: Challenge your balance on wobbly inflatable beams.
  • Trampolines: Jump and bounce on floating trampolines.
  • Swings: Enjoy inflatable swings that launch you into the water.
  • Hurdles: Conquer various hurdles as part of the obstacle courses.
  • Other Floating Challenges: The park features a range of other inflatable elements designed for fun and challenging play.

3. Grab a Bite to Eat

While the park doesn’t have food options, you can head over to River Rider’s main center, where there is a taco shop, ice cream shop, and the Alstadts Ale House restaurant.
